Dr. Sergio Curto - PostDoc Research Associate
Sergio Curto received the B.Eng. degree in Computer and Communications Engineering, from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland, and the Technical Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Universidad de Alcala, Spain, in 2005. He received the Ph.D degree in Microwave Antenna Engineering from the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland, in 2010.
Dr. Curto worked on the design, analysis and measurements of antennas for medical application and dosimetry evaluations, at the Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore, in 2007. From September 2010 to March 2014 he worked at the company Rymsa Espacio, Madrid, Spain, where he was responsible for designing antennas and passive equipment for communication satellites. He is an external collaborator of the Radio Frequency Group, Electronic Department, University of Barcelona, Spain and member of the CEMIC-Microsystems Engineering group. In April 2014, Dr. Curto joined the Biomedical Devices and Computing Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Kansas State University, as Postdoctoral Research Associate. His main research interests include the electromagnetic interaction antenna-human tissue, hyperthermia and ablation cancer treatment, MRI compatible antennas, and medical implantable devices.

Dr. Oben Dag - PostDoc Research Associate
Oben Dag was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1978. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2010 from Istanbul Technical University. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Istanbul AREL University. He has been granted a Postdoctoral Scholar Award from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). He is a postdoc associate at the department of Electrical & computer engineering in KSU. His research areas are Computer Methods in Power Systems, Power System Modeling and Analysis, Microgrid Applications in smart grids, Distribution Systems, Distribution Automation and Control, Artificial Neural Networks, Wavelet Analysis.
