Haosong Chen received a bachelor's in biomedical engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2022, followed by a master's in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2024.
Shayan Gholizadeh - assistant professor
Shayan Gholizadeh has a diverse background in biomedical engineering with a particular focus on tissue engineering and organ-on-a-chip systems.
Crystal Strauss - academic advisor
Crystal Strauss joined the department in August 2024 as an academic advisor focusing on retention, especially students at higher risk of leaving the department, college or university. Strauss holds bachelor's degrees in both business marketing and gender, women and sexuality studies (formerly women's studies). She has been employed at K-State for 15 years and values helping students reach their goals.
